How Beautiful...the little things are!

You may have seen all of these pictures before.
Several of the beautiful blogs that I read end each blog post with a scripture or inspirational thought.
I think it is so neat that these people find appropriate scriptures or quotes for their posting.
Amy, a beautiful lady that I don't know, but I've seen her blog, has recently experienced some struggles related to her eyesight. Her story has been very inspiring to follow. Before you finish reading, scroll back to the top of today's post, and notice how the light reflects on the different surfaces in each picture I've shown. Wow! Isn't it amazing when you stop and pay attention!
The quote I read on another blog, I'm sorry I don't remember where for sure, is this...

"Enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
Robert Brault

As you think about this quote today, I believe you will be challenged as I have to think some NEW thoughts, and look at things with a different perspective.

I hope your day will be every bit as wonderful as all of you who faithfully read my blog and leave a comment. It may seem like such a little thing, but I love hearing from you.

Love, Rachel

Again, more beautiful pictures, though seen before, I see light reflections I didn't notice before. Even in some where the background was dark or black there was still a light relfection. I want God's light to shine in my life.
Have a wonderful day. Love you, Donnie

Oh how beautiful, Rachael.... you are so right: Little lovely things that for some people may be worthless, but for some others... oh, how they make our hearts sing!

You have a lovely day, my dear....

True eye candy. To me, a photo is just not of a thing, or a flower or piece of jewelry. It is indeed the way the light plays off of it. The angles and textures. As though you can see through it into its very soul.

Thank you for telling me to take the time to look at the pictures more closely. I have been thinking about this lately. Stopping and smelling the roses. I *miss* so much, because I am in such a hurry!

Rachel,

These are beautiful pictures and although I am having more difficulty seeing again, I can see these and am giving thanks!

I know that we all take the little things for granted...it's hard not to but I do think daily of the things that I wish I had appreciated more.

Thank you for your kind words over at my blog. Please continue to remember me in prayer.

Amy

I didn't see a way to email you, but I wanted to personally thank you for your kind comments on my blog. The support of other women is wonderful, and very helpful. Yes, I have tried to find my mother, siblings and any details on my father, who died when I was young. But there are apparently no relatives who knew about them still alive who I've been able to find. Perhaps I should just let it go. There's always this push to keep trying. And occasionally I do. But sometimes just writing about it helps more than anything. Anyway, thanks for reaching out to me.
