It is starting to feel chilly in the morning and evening.
The quilts and throws and candles are one of our ways to enjoy a crisp late summer early fall evening. What do you do to make your home more cozy for a chilly evening?

We had some excitement on our street last night. It was only 2 1/2 blocks away, so off we went to join the crowd armed with our cell phone cameras. We'd been watching the "production" set up for 2 days. At least now I realize that is what those people in the big white van were doing the day before. They set orange cones and taped no parking signs to the tree and sign posts in front of the old deserted house that I adore. When I figure out how to transfer a cell phone photo into blogger, then I'll show you. You can say you found out here first!
Oh and in more chatty news here at a romantic porch...we had our "first official date" on September 17, way back when! I remember my excitement of that evening. All these years later, the thought still brings me joy!
So that about wraps up the local news report and trip down memory's lane.

Have a happy day!
Love, Rachel

Hey Mz. Rachel! Lovely posts you have been having! I've finally caught up on what you have been doing since August 1! Cloud watching, birthdays, ice cream making, peeping into old deserted homes, bug watching . . . loved the trip with you. Keep 'em coming! Thanks for the kind words about my Daddy.
Hugs,
Liv

I am guessing it may have something to do with shooting a movie ?????

I guess will have to wait and see.

My Birthday's was yesterday, so we share a common date only in a different way.
