Oh What Joy!

... A child's cozy play spot...a tent...a cubby hole. Oh what joy! It's in the middle of the dining room traffic flow!
... The reflection of the lace on the black shiny surface. Oh what joy! It's an overcast day, BUT the reflection just glows.

...An old salvaged porch post. Oh what joy! It fills that empty spot perfectly.

...A favorite old book found...a treasure of knowledge. Oh what joy! It's falling apart from years of use, I'm sure.

...The pitter patter of tiny feet. Oh what joy! They are off on another adventure. THEY are carrying the tiny body with the camera!
Have a joy filled day ya'll. Love, Rachel

Dear Rachel,
The pictures are ALL perfect. Cherish the tents in the middle of the room and the patters of the little feet. They will be grown and out on their own, following the paths that their lives take all to soon. The black, grays and whites reflect beautifully. I guess that means those dark times in our lives can reflect beauty also.
Have a wonderful day. Love you, Donnie

What a beautiful post, Rachel. I use to make quilt tents between chairs on our front porch as a child and helped my own children and now grandchildren to make them. I love all your pictures and your joys!

Hugs,
Hope

Funny, as I get older I value gray days--there's much to be "seen" if you look--and you enjoyed yours!

I remember tents made in the living room! My boys use to do that all the time! What a lovely post Rachel!
