I DO Have a Choice!

I could be sad that it is cold. Warm summer evenings on the porch are a mere memory as we scurry from the door and down the steps.
The leaves have fallen to a crisp blanket of brown on the lawn. Instead, I will choose to enjoy the outline of the tree limbs etched like an intricate hand of lace against the gray blue sky. Black lace I call it...all so marvelously woven.
What have you found today that you can choose to enjoy?
Love, Rachel

Rachel, you are so like Mother! She found joy is so many 'regular' things in life! Thanks for reminding us to look beyond the obvious!

Love,
Esther

Dear Rachel,
You have such deep reaching and thoughtful thoughts. Your black lace tree is beautiful, looks like it has a lot of mistletoe in it, a good place for you and Mr. Romantic Porch to sit and ponder the coming Spring!
The last many days your blogs have been very good.
Love you, have a wonderful day.

I love your post! I see lace in other things, like the tree limbs you mentioned, or the way the sun falls through the gently breezed leaves and the shadows they make on the sidewalk as I'm walking between trees...looks like lace to me!

This morning when I got up and came downstairs there was a dusting of snow on the ground and the rooftops and the sky was so blue and the sun was shining bright and everything looked beautiful.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)
