A Tutorial!

After searching through the supply cabinet, and realizing there was no red construction paper, the "petite porch princess" decided to "make her own". From watching her, I realized if you want to do this yourself, you will need to use white copy paper and a washable red marker. Spend a very long time diligently covering all the surface of the white paper with red marker.
When you are finished both sides will be "red" and ready for all of your construction paper needs. I propped it up and snapped this photo so you can see how it will look when it is completed! smile

Well, how do you make construction paper at your house? I just thought maybe you'd like to know how it is done here!

Have a crafty creative day!
Love, Rachel

P.S. Yes, the Santa is one of the ones carved from wood by my daddy. Sorry, but I wouldn't be much help with a tutorial for that!

Remember that time Daniel colored the entire paper black? I probably still have it somewhere. I hope today is a good one for you :-)

Rachel,
That is just too cute! What a creative little girl! Just watch, she'll grow up to be a famous designer! And that Santa is just amazing! I loved all your other recent posts too. Is that a rat? My Rachel used to have one named Angelina!
Hugs,
Victoria Lynn

I love it!! So many times we have made colored construction paper in just this way! The clean-up is always interesting. I have had permanent green marks on a table for a long time!!! Sally

Dear Rachel,
Little Princess is learning as the rest of us, it you don't have what you need, figure out a way to make it. A very good talent and knowledge to have.
I think that red paper is prettier than a piece of red constrution paper. It has more character!
Praying you have a wonderful day.
Love you, Donnie

At our house we just pick up the phone and say, "Daddy, will you please bring us some red paper from the print shop when you come home?" It's awfully handy having a printer daddy sometimes!
