VOTE...To Stay or Not to Stay

If you would like for your name to be placed in a drawing to be chosen to "win" this faux crystal hanging ornament...
...and insure that I can continue to enjoy these beaded glass lighted bells a while longer...

...then just leave a comment and "vote" to stay or not to stay about the lights in the organza swag draped on the stairway.
Although, the swag doesn't just jump out and say Merry Christmas, it DOES have white Christmas lights in it...SO I'd enjoy knowing what you think.

Hurry - cast your ballot! To stay, or not to stay for the white lights. I'll reveal the randomly selected comment winner tomorrow and it will be one of YOU, so don't delay!
Have a wonderful Thursday everyone and thanks for participating in the comment drawing!

Let it stay until you are ready to change. We keep white lights up year round in our house. This year we have them in two different rooms on 'trees' (not Christmas trees) :~).

My vote is stay!! The lights give the illusion of warmth. You may not want this look come springtime but for right now it's great!! Besides, it's your house and if it makes you feel good..do it!!:)

Hugs,
Hope

On this my first visit to your blog, I've found it delightful. I'm coming from Katherine's Yellow Rose Arbor.
My vote is stay. The lights give warmth in the depth of winter.

It is beautiful, however, it reminds me of wedding draping. For the holidays I think it was perfect, but I think it should come down.

I love it...it goes with all the rest of your victorian/shabby chic decorations. I so wish I could decorate again like I used to before Garrett...but I wouldn't trade him for decorations so I'll just enjoy looking at yours!

Hi Rachel,

Yes it should stay. It gives a warm soft glow to the space. Especially now since daylight ends so early. Everyone needs a bit of sparkle and glow to their home.
Just lovely,
Elizabeth xoxo

I, too, think they should stay! Tomorrow I'll post pics of a lovely birthday tea at a dear friend's house. She shared what we all felt was an excellent idea: Leave Christmas/Winter decorations up until you're ready to decorate for spring. The Christmas/ Winter decorations bring so much comfort and light to the long winter evenings.
