Hi , Thanks for your visit and comment.:o) Would this object be cocoa with marshmellows?I really have no idea. When I first saw it I thought snowball. lol Have a great wkend. Blessins', Lib
My first thought was a snowball, then when I enlarged it, I thought it was a crystal(the kind you hang in a window to catch the sun)--some make incredible rainbows! Is it an ice cube?
I like Donnie's answer-a diamond.
Rachel-you are one "talented jewel" of a woman. Love, Linda
Rachel, given that you and your family live in a home that was built one hundred and four years ago--a time when household fixtures were what we consider antiques, I'll take a guess on the mystery object: an out-of-focus glass door knob. Trying to keep from "skidding in sideways" too early, I am Ray! Great blog.
This is hysterical! IIII'm even getting phone calls - some long distance! - asking if I know what it is and if you've told us yet! You are too much fun! Love you! Esther
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore- While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. "'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door- "It is Daniel," he says "let me in, it's snowy out here and the door knob is missing!"

My guess is the same as Mother's. I think it's an antique glass door knob.
What a fun thing to do on your blog!!! Is it a reflector on a Christmas light? Now I'll want to check in all day to find out the answer!
This is so much fun!! I think it's either a glass doorknob or a HUGE diamond or even a small diamond up close!! How's that for guessing??
Come by and check out my post today. You're a part of it and just thought you might want to know that!! LOL
Don't forget to tell us!!!! I'm very curious!
Love, Esther

I think it is one of the glass door knobs that you use to decorate with. :) Can't wait to find out.

Well, I'm going to guess, too. I think it is a doorknob. Enjoying your blog since we got home.

Poor Daniel! I hope he gets his door knob back soon!
