There they were as we rounded the bend, the fluffy pair of geese with not a care. I "think" one quacked to the other, "Just stay outa the road, just stay outa the road and run for cover if necessary. "
Their life appeared tranquil and peaceful until it was interrupted by our blue Yukon slowly going by with a curly haired passenger hanging out the window aiming a silver camera their direction.
They were just enjoying their day. I enjoyed seeing them. I hope you do too.
Breathe deeply. Inhale the joys of Autumn.
Love, Rachel
P.S. I have heard that geese and other fowl mate for life. Have you?

What a sweet photo! That is frame-able! I've heard that swans mate for life. I didn't know that about other fowl.
Beautiful fall picture!!! Hope that you are enjoying your day! XXOO
What a charming picture! Yes, geese do mate for life. They could teach us humans a lesson or two.
Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day.

The photo is beautiful. I do know that wild geese mate for life, but these are domesticated Taloose (I believe )geese. We had some. They were not monogomous! Maybe it was just ours that weren't! :~\
