Frame It!

Okie dokie! I just wanted to tell you about this inexpensive and quick decor trick! If you keep your eyes open at yard sales, thrift stores, or your own garage or attic, many times you will find fabulous picture frames for a few cents or dollars or even free.
Simply set them on your desired surface and lean them against the wall. Yay! No measuring or hammering or anything like that. You can paint them if you want...this is how I have some of mine right now. I'm sorry my pictures are dark. I'm trying to figure out how to keep that from happening. How do you take bright cheery photos?

Have a picture perfect day, sweet friends!
Love, Rachel

Love the look, Rachel.
I try to take my photos with the afternoon sun. Works best for me and the way the house sits. Have a good weekend.

I like this idea alot. Do you put your pictures on Picasa? They have extra helps for pics such as brightening them up if you want. Happy Memorial Day weekend!!!

Looks great! WHen I take pictures I try to use the best light of the day- turn the lights all on in that room or area and then turn the flash off. Usually the camera , if it is on automatic will adjust the shutter speed. You can always lighten them up a bit too when you go to edit them -

Rachel, Your display is gorgeous. When I try to display frames such as this, it looks ackward. I am going back to study your strategy. :-)

I take terrible photos, I know some of the gals have really cool cameras, like Heather Bullard, sheesh!

Frames are so versatile and you have done so well with yours! I love it! My pictures are either too dark or so bright they glare!
I don't know how to do it to get just the right light either. I thought your picture was fine! Flash just ruins things I try to photograph. I think I need lessons in photography! :)
Cute idea!!
