Just A Week?

Last week our kids were out of school from Wednesday through Saturday because of bad weather and snow. On Tuesday morning that week when we dropped one of them off at school in the morning, it was dark...pitch black! This week on Monday morning when we went for the drop off, I was amazed and thrilled it was light...as in daylight! Yay! Morning sunshine!
Amazing that just a week makes that much difference!
Can you tell it is staying light longer each day where you live?

We'll have a cold snowy frosty sunshiny day here, but it's light!
Love, Rachel

I have noticed the days are slightly longer down here, also. I enjoy the longer days, so this is very welcome. So far, we have not had any snow to speak of, just a little that you have to look for. I like the warmer climate, so that is fine for me.

The mountains right north of us had a lot of snow yesterday with a lot of wrecks. Ugh!

I know, those longer days kind of sneak up on you, don't they? It sure helps get you through the winter.

The days here definitely getting longer here on P.E.I. too. It is daylight at least 40 mins longer in the evening and the sun rises about a half hour earlier so I love it!

My wife and I were just talking yesterday about the warm up that is coming and how grateful we are for the change. We are tired of the snow and the bitter cold. Yeah for warm weather and melted snow-although I am sure the kids would disagree. Have a great day!!! -Mr Blessings

Yes, a week does make a difference. I always look forward to longer days and it means Spring is just around the corner. It'll be here before we know it.

Rachel, The last line of your post made me laugh - such hope expressed. Indirectly aspiring for a little warmth and all that comes with Spring.
