November's First Snow

We had just a smidgin' of snow fall last night.

Our little spot of town looks so different from the upstairs windows as opposed to the downstairs windows, you know.

I thought the yellow leaves on the elm tree looked pretty against the white background. 

I wasn't so sure I wanted the thermometer to tell me it was

 27 degrees F, though!

Winter has arrived.

Well,

 after all,

 we need to get "all geared up" for the

sleigh rides

and

snowball fights

and

snowman building

and

ice sculpture making

and mostly

dashing through the snow...

from the car to the house!
