Summer Blessings!

Are you enjoying fresh goodies from the garden yet? Yum! Crisp juicy green beans are so delicious!
Can you believe how fast zucchini grows? It seems like it can grow inches per day. We had it in stir fry last night. Well and of course we had to eat one of them raw. Yes sirree, just munched it from top to bottom. It was a cool crisp summer blessing. What is your favorite way to cook or eat zucchini?

Happy gardening...AND weeding!
Love, Rachel

My garden is barely getting going. The flowers look fantastic but I don't expect any veggies for a few weeks. Living in New England makes for very unpredictable gardening.

Looks lovely. Our gardens are coming out of the 'funk' from too much rain ... looking forward to fresh produce. TTFN ~Marydon

I have two tomato plants in pots which have produced about 6 ripe tomatoes. Yummy! I love zucchini bread. Great to put in the freezer and eat at a later date. Francis

We've had fresh tomatoes and green peppers. I also grow sweet basil and mint.

My favorite way with zucchini is zucchini bread!

Oh, lucky you! Fresh veggies from the garden! We had a garden when I was young growing up. I remember thinking "we're so poor that we have to grow our own food". I didn't realize it was a blessing to have homegrown food! :)
