A Summer Song

Oh how I have missed you.
I'm missed hearing what you have to say.
Next week school starts. 
 Can you believe that?
The melody of summer continues.
I haven't forgotten you.
I long to sit and write and write and write.
To you!
Yes, you.
I will, in time, I will.
For now, duty is calling.
