School! Already?
Summer sighs. So do I. School begins. Already? Yes, ready or not. Have I done everything I could with the circumstances I've had to make this summer memorable and fun? I've tried, oh yes I've tried. Today is a new day. A day to celebrate and make more memories. I won't look back and feel the pull of regret. I've done my best. I won't look to tomorrow and feel the fear of uncertainty. I will embrace today. I will find today's joy!
Rachel, I feel so much like this. I hope I hope we did enough fun things together before school actually starts. I'm not ready!!! I am sending all 4 kids to public school this year. I'm sad, but happy. I'm going to miss them so much, but relieved to know they will have some structure, dead-lines and balance. I too want to find joy in this moment. Bless you sweetie. Kathi
That is a great way of looking at life...Rachel! It is so easy to look behind or ahead and not experience "today"! Danny and I have been talking alot about that lately. Have fun finding joy today! :)
Bravely, even with trembling, reach our hand to God's each morning, noon and night, He leads us safely through wherever our paths lead. Have a wonderful first day of the rest of your life. Love you, Donnie
Thank you so much for taking time to leave a comment. It is sorta like a sweet visit on the porch. In this busy world with so many places to go and things to do, I value the time you spend here with me.
I wish you great success in finding today's joy.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Esther
