I know that the sensation of fall is in the air. I feel it. Don't you? I think Winnie~the~Pooh calls this feeling "hot chocolatey mornings and roasted marshmallowey evenings".
Though the birds are gone, and the nest is empty, I see warm weather and blue skies. I'm still enjoying summer!
I can feel fall in the air, the nights are getting much cooler here! Although the weather is still beautiful, I can't help but be excited for the changing of the seasons!
I can tell by the light that fall is coming. There's a more golden cast to the sun. fall is my absolute favorite season and I can't wait! Have a great day!
I am SO enjoying summer but I also adore hot chocolately mornings(Hope that my dear Mom isn't reading this! :)). There is something so cozy about fall...ya know? Have a good day!
I think everybody is perceiving the change of season in so many feelings, but I love the way you and Winnie the Pooh described it: The "hot chocolatey mornings and roasted marshmallowey evenings"--ah, the cozy warm feeling of fall!
I loved the picture of the bird's nest. Enjoy the last days of summer...It's still hot here, but the days are getting shorter. I'm looking forward to my first cup of hot chocolate! Blessings, Victoria Lynn
Thank you so much for taking time to leave a comment. It is sorta like a sweet visit on the porch. In this busy world with so many places to go and things to do, I value the time you spend here with me.
Beautiful pictures! Keep enjoying summer! But I can feel fall here, too!

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a "hot chocolately morning" here! Rainy and 49! Brr!! This is still August!!
ReplyDeleteWe had a big ol' pile of fluffy white clouds yesterday, though, and I thought of the Porch Princess as I sat on the porch swing at lunchtime.
Enjoy every moment of these last days of summer Rachel!

I can feel it in the air too Rachel. I always enjoy that crispness and the smell of burning leaves. Have a safe and happy holiday. Kathi
