Yesterday we saw this amazing creature sniffing around the spot where I put food out for stray animals...string animals as they seem to be called in our household. No, I don't know why "string". It appeared to be a cat with an incredibly interesting color, a long slender neck and large prominent ears AND no tail.
See NO TAIL...isn't that interesting? We quickly gave it a tuna sandwich, though the "tuna" was actually chicken! Does that make sense? Oh well, never mind...now there you have the answer to the question in the post below. It is a stray Manx Cat. Thanks for guessing along with me.

What a pretty little kitty. It is a shame that people don't or won't take care of their animals. Bless you for feeding all the poor lost and lonely creatures of our Lord. I hope the kitty finds a home with love. I love chicken salad sandwich or tuna. Have a great week.

I can't believe it has been so long since I last visited you! You are such a compasionate person caring for the strays. Oh, I can't believe someone would let that lovely Manx cat roam--or that it just fends for itself on a regular basis. Your "waterfall" chest is wonderful! We have a chest and dresser of that same design in a guest bed room--it belonged to my husband's parents and we have used it for years and years. It has been many colors since we've had it--currently it is painted black with brushed nickel handles. Your idea to use a pitcher as a candle holder is brilliant! It's like a little lantern--and so easy to move with its handle. I will put that idea to good use!! What a sweet porch picnic--lucky you--even with the intrusion of the extra large ant! Happy Sunday.
