The years fly by. I have one graduating too. It's a joy to watch them go off to new things. The wings are stretching a little wider, and they are going farther. Congratulation on all your hard work Rachel. Debbie
Oh how that Dr. Seuss wisdom tugs at my heart! I was so sad as my children graduated from high school (actually, I was RELIEVED at first--it was touch and go at times---then I became sad. Then grateful, but sad.) However, even though I thought my life as I knew it was over because they were no longer needing me as much, they showed me how wonderful it was to watch them mature into amazing adults with fulfilling lives of their own. And I got real lucky and ONE of them gave me the greatest gift (AFTER he fininshed college, got a job and married!!!)--a magnificent grandbaby! So now, I am laughing with happiness, because it is not over.
Oh Rachel, Doesn't the time just fly by when you have kids to mark each passing year with their changes??? I have seen my baby boy, Joshua, who is just 16 turn into a 6'6" man this year! Very strange and it hurts my heart to see him starting to drive and not needing me as much anymore too! I will pray that Jonathan will be blessed on his journey and that you and your husband will be blessed by his life as he grows older!
I'm glad we were able to be with you all for this great occasion. It is hard to believe that it's already here and he is "mostly" grown :-) I wish him the best in life and to always have God's smile on him.
Oh Rachel, How wonderful - and I love the saying. You always look on the Sunnyside of Life, dear friend which is the only way to go - I'm going to borrow your Dr. Seuss saying if you don't mind.
A big "Congratulations" to Jonathan! What a special time in his life! Milestones are both rewarding and sentimental...Hope that you all enjoyed his special day! Blessings on Jonathan's life! Love ya!
Hi Dear Rachel, How is your week going so far? I hope you are doing well and so is the house and family!!! How did our prayers do last week??? Oh, and did you get your birthday card??? Hope it made it to you OK!
Please stop by and see me, I am having a giveaway too... XO, Donna Lynn
Congratulations Jonathan! It is amazing how fast the time goes. It is for sure a bitter-sweet time. I get a lump in my throat thinking about my own babies driving and becoming independent, yet I'm so proud of them too. Hugs, Kathi
Thank you so much for taking time to leave a comment. It is sorta like a sweet visit on the porch. In this busy world with so many places to go and things to do, I value the time you spend here with me.
Congratulations, Jonathan!! I'm so proud of you!
