I think that's a ridiculous policy. We had the same one in Mechanicsville, VA when we lived there. The school nurse told me that as long as they show up long enough for them to take roll call you could take them home right afterwards. Isn't that just ridiculous?! What happened to keeping your kids home so they didn't infect the others?
Sorry to go on and on, but that used to make me really mad.
